This range of low cost
linear position transducers will provide linear measurement of the movement of a valve, actuator, damper, or any
other moving device,
and provide a current, voltage or resistive feedback signal proportional to position.
The transmitter uses a rotary
potentiometer as the variable element. A coated steel wire is wound onto a
pulley wheel with a constant force spring arrangement for cord retraction. The
construction provides a measure of damping if the anchor point of the wire is
subject to vibration, and obviates mechanical wear if the motion is out of line
with the potentiometer.

Available as: 3 wire potentiometric or 2 wire 4-20mA current loop, 3 wire 0-10v,
both with adjustable Span and Zero.
Measuring ranges: from 35mm to 1250mm.
